The TRONIC TQ3S 160A 4-Pole Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is designed for reliable switching between normal and alternative power sources, particularly for generator backup and power distribution applications. This model has a 160A rated current, a 250AF frame rating, and a 4-pole configuration.

The TQ3S series is designed for AC 50/60Hz power systems with a rated operating voltage of 400/230V. It supports both automatic and manual transfer, with three main contact positions: Normal, Alternative, and OFF. The OFF position allows the lower circuit to be safely isolated for maintenance.

The unit features power status indicators, a switch-position indicator, automatic/manual controls, and an operating handle. Depending on the controller configuration, the TQ3S series can provide automatic switching and recovery, source failure and voltage-loss protection, generator functions, and remote control.
